Nation Media Group PLC (NMG) is East Africa's largest independent media house, listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange (and cross-listed in Uganda and Tanzania), with operations spanning newspapers (Daily Nation, Business Daily, The EastAfrican), television and radio broadcasting (NTV, QTV, Easy FM, among others), and digital media across Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. The Company's fiscal year ends 31 December. NMG's results reflect the structural decline of print advertising and circulation revenue amid the industry-wide shift to digital media, with revenue and profitability under sustained pressure across FY2020-FY2025, moving from solid profits in FY2020-FY2021 to recurring losses from FY2022 onward, partly offset by cost-reduction measures and equity income from associate investments.
