How to use the NSE dividend calendar
Use the upcoming ex-date column to identify the last practical window for buying shares before a stock starts trading without its next dividend. The payment date then helps you estimate when dividend cash may be received.
What is an ex-dividend date?
The ex-dividend date is the date on which a stock begins trading without the value of its upcoming dividend. Investors generally need to own the shares before that date to qualify for the payout.
Net income applies a flat 5% withholding tax, the resident rate on NSE dividends. Amounts for UMME are in Ugandan shillings and for BKG in Rwandan francs; the total adds the figures as shown without converting them.
