Sanlam Allianz Holdings (Kenya) PLC (formerly Sanlam Kenya PLC) is a Nairobi Securities Exchange-listed non-banking financial institution whose principal activity is underwriting life and non-life insurance risks - including death, disability, credit protection and mortgage protection cover - mainly through its subsidiary Sanlam Allianz Life Insurance (Kenya) Limited. The Group also holds interests in Sanlam Securities Limited and Sanlam General Insurance Limited (merged in 2025 with Jubilee Allianz General Insurance (Kenya) Limited), plus dormant entities Sanlam Investments Limited, Mae Properties Limited and Chem Chemi Mineral Water Limited. The Company itself is a holding entity investing in subsidiaries for dividend income and land held for sale, operating in Kenya insurance within the Sanlam-Allianz pan-African insurance partnership.
